Giving Back: The Keep A Breast Foundation

Terralite Partners with Keep A Breast for Limited Edition Coconut Wax Candle

Terralite and The Keep A Breast Foundation, the leading youth-focused, global, nonprofit breast cancer organization, today announced plans for a limited edition Pink Lemonade Coconut Wax Candle.

“We are excited to collaborate with The Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization that empowers young people with breast health education and support. ” said Jessica Waters, Co-Owner of Terralite. “My aunt lost her life to breast cancer so I know how important early detection is. I really love how Keep A Breast is encouraging young women to do their monthly self checks. We’re creating a special all natural candle to promote awareness for the cause and donate a portion of the proceeds to help fund programs that encourage a healthy lifestyle.”

“Breast cancer is an environmental disease and educating young people on how they can make smart choices that will ultimately lower their risk of disease is what The Keep A Breast Foundation is all about.” explained Shaney jo Darden, CCO & Founder of The Keep A Breast Foundation. “Common fragrance-based candles release nasty chemicals into the air, which are toxic for everyone who breathes them.  Choosing pure, all natural home and beauty products, like Terralite, is so important to cancer prevention and we are honored to be partnering with such a beautiful, conscious company.”

The PINK LEMONADE all natural coconut wax candle will be made with pink grapefruit and lemon essential oils. Terralite will donate $10 of every candle sold to The Keep A Breast Foundation to help with their mission of eradicating breast cancer for future generations by educating youth about prevention, early detection and cancer-causing toxins in the environment.

The new scent will debut online September 16, 2016 at and at the 2016 Green Festival in Los Angeles for $20.

About The Keep A Breast Foundation™

The Keep A Breast Foundation™ is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support. Since its inception in 2000, KAB has worked with young people to remove the shame associated with breasts and breast cancer health. Through various initiatives such as breast cast art exhibitions, the “Non Toxic Revolution” and “I love boobies!” campaign, KAB has opened up the dialog about breast cancer, and has proven to be a doorway to breast self-awareness and education.

Keep A Breast has grown into the leading global youth-based breast cancer prevention organization, with global affiliates in Japan, Canada, France, UK and Chile. Constantly pushing the boundaries of the pink ribbon status quo, Keep A Breast has always encouraged young people to love their boobies!, get to know their bodies and be aware of changes.
